Octagon Pinwheel Granny Square | Free Crochet Pattern
This free granny square pattern takes the crochet octagon with a pinwheel centre and squares off the design to create an open granny square.
I can see this square being used in more than just crochet granny square blankets – I would love to see it stitched up in cotton yarn and joined to create summer cardigans or vest tops.
The pinwheel detail adds a unique start to this project that creates lots of lovely open space in the granny square.
