While many of us will be raiding our yarn stashes to help reduce the yarn we have, it’s an idea to keep on top of the color trends for the upcoming seasons for gift making and crochet accessories. This Fall 2021, there are bold changes ahead with colours moving towards warmer, jewel tones such as fuchsia, indigo blue alongside army green and clay brown. Fashion magazines including Vogue and Marie Claire will often share their predictions mid summer based on what has been seen on the catwalks for the upcoming season!
Another great place to see predictions and color trends is Pantone Color Institute!
Pantone are the people who announce the color of the year, so really have their fingers on the pulse on color trends!
Pantone actually released the the Autumn/Winter colours in February 2021! Which makes me feel very behind the times – but that’s the joy of crochet – we can whip up some thing on trend pretty quickly with our own hands!
