How to crochet a crop top

The first thing to do before starting any crochet garment is to check your measurements – click here to find out more about how to measure yourself for the best fit.

Once you have your measurements, use the size chart below to confirm which size you would like to make.

This top is designed with a negative ease of 2″ for a close fit around the bust and to allow for stretching while wearing.

There are 2 lengths to choose from:

  • Cropped
  • Bralette with ribbing
  • those with larger cups are recommended to increase the number of rows to create more coverage if preferred

The ribbing is designed to bring in the base of the top for a tighter fit under the bust.

If opting to create a corset close, make one size smaller than but measurement to allow a gap for the closure.
