Easy, Simple & Beautiful Beginners Crochet Patterns

From learning new stitches to creating useful things, we all have different goals once we start to crochet. I’ve gathered some of my favourite beginner friendly crochet patterns here for you with huge thanks to the wonderful designers.

The mug cosy pictured above is such a fun project. I made lots of these for presents at Christmas – I mean, who doesn’t need another mug 😂 They also mean that, if like me you wait until the end of a row of crochet before taking another swig of coffee, it will still be warm!

Beginners Crochet Pattern - Scarf — Amethyst Scarf – Crochets By Trista

I know that sometimes we just want to practice what we know, and learn new stitches at the same time! Well, this Stitch Sampler Scarf available on Ravelry is a great way to practice your stitches.

This ear warmer pattern is great to practice working in to the back loop only (BLO -working in to the rear part of the stitch or V instead of putting your hook under both parts of the stitch)
