I’m a huge fan of the chevron stitch and working the same chevron technique in different stitches too.

The chevron shape is created by increasing into one stitch and decrease over the same number of stitches. These increases and decreases create the peaks and troughs.

The stitch can also be worked in all stitch sizes. I used the Single crochet chevron to create the Time for Me crochet coaster,   and the double crochet chevron in the Breezy Blanket and Cushion.

I’m pleased that I found a pretty way to close the spaces between the peaks to highlight the undulating stitches.
