Special Stitches:

Half Treble Crochet (HTr) (US Terms – Half Double Crochet HDc)

  • Yarn over hook.
  • Insert hook into stitch.
  • Yarn over and draw up a loop. (3 loops on hook)
  • Yarn over and pull through all 3 loops.

Pattern Notes:

  • Whatever your skill level with crochet, I would always recommend reading through this pattern before beginning. Get in touch if you need any help completing the pattern.
  • This pattern is worked in rows to create a rectangle before slip stitching the sides together.
  • Go through the pattern highlighting the stitch count required for that size.
  • Ch1 does not count as a stitch.
  • You will be using a bigger hook that your yarn suggests to create a looser, stretchy fabric
  • Make sure you check your stitch count every row
  • Place a stitch marker in the 1st & last stitches to help you identify when each row starts and ends. This will prevent your rectangle turning in to a triangle
