Free Crochet Hair Scarf Pattern | Free Crochet Pattern

This pattern was inspired (and kindly modelled) by a friend I made while on holiday in Mexico back in January. Lounging in the 30 degree weather can be a bit warm for long hair to be worn loose, and I knew just what Libby needed – a new hair scarf!

This pattern is worked with fingering weight yarn which although smaller than the usual dk/size 3 yarn I usually work with, it’s quick to work up and due to the size of the yarn, it has more drape and movability – perfect for a project like this.

You can simply use whatever weight yarn you’d like to make, but the bigger the yarn is you may wish to adjust the number of rows you make to reduce the width.
