- up to 130yds Worsted Yarn (see size chart for amounts required for each size)
- I used Rico Creative Cotton Colour Coated (50% Cotton/50% Acrylic 50g/125m in the following shade 003 Pastel Mix
- 4mm Crochet Hook
- Scissors
- Tapestry needle

This was my first time working with Rico Creative Cotton. It was one of those yarns I’d purchased as I loved the colours, but previous attempts to crochet with it, made the colours appear muddy and didn’t show them off to their true potential.
Working up this pattern, I chose a simple stitch and a smaller than recommended hook size than suggested on the yarn band, and wow – it really made me fall in love with the colour all over again!
The yarn itself, is almost a tiny ribbon, in that it’s flat, super smooth and very light weight. It comes in lots of different colours, and I’m sure I’ll be using it again for a summer design.
I really love that this crochet headband pattern comes is so many sizes – it’s great for those Mummy and Me sets! Who doesn’t love to match with the ones that they love?!
