I love crochet ear warmer as much as the next person, but I’d also like to wear my crochet all day long without flattening my fine hair at the same time!

This crochet headband is the perfect handmade fashion accessory that is a quick and easy crochet pattern for beginners too.

I’ve seen so many satin and fabric headbands in the shops that feature a sweet little knot in them that add a little height and interest to a plain headband that I simply wanted to recreate the look with a crochet twist!

I have sourced the loveliest headband blanks, that were not just plastic that can really hurt when worn longer than 5 minutes.

They have a flannelette, faux suede lining to add some extra friction to your hair and prevent the headband slipping which worked perfectly with this design. You can see the headband blanks in my Etsy Shop by clicking the button below.Purchase a Headband Blank

One of my favourite things to crochet when I was selling my finished items was crochet headbands. They were so popular and one of my listings on Etsy was a best seller throughout A/W 2020.

Crochet headbands tend to be super quick crochet projects, that don’t use a lot of materials to make so they are easy to price them so that you can make a few pennies and charge for the time to complete the project too.

This knotted crochet headband can be made with any Aran or (DK Size 3) weight yarn, choosing to go bold with the colours and selecting a variegated yarn or keep it simple with one colour.
