Bittersweet Margaret Crochet Bralette Top | Premium Crochet Patterns
This easy to follow crochet bralette top pattern is available sizes XS through to 5XL plus the written instructions for the bra cups are for sizes A-F. The size chart below details the all the sizing for your reference.
I was inspired to design a bralette top that allowed those for a fuller chest to create a crochet bralette that didn’t expose too much side boob. I was forever seeing people requesting ideas about how to make them a better fit in various Facebook groups, which is why the bralette cups on this design, fit around the side of the bust.
The chevron pattern creates a flair around the hips creating an empire line fit giving it a flattering fit which is lightweight for the summer. Plus peephole chevron is ideal stitch pattern to allow you to make a stripy crochet fabric.
The pattern works up quickly and has detail instructions on how to line the cups for added support and prevent the dreaded nip slips associated with bralette tops. You can also chose the length of the lower part of the top from waist length all the way through to a full dress length!

Crochet Bralette Sizing
The chart below shows you the sizing for the under bust band and estimation on how much yarn you’ll need per size.
Grab your tape measure, and check your measurement to confirm the amount of yarn you’ll need to make your own cute crochet bralette top.
The under bust band is sized to fit the smallest measurement to allow for some stretching during wear. It’s worth noting that the that the bra band will loosen once your top is worn, which is the nature of cotton yarn.
Cup Sizing
The bralette cups are designed and sized like the cups in a bra to ensure the best possible fit – the pattern includes a chart to direct you to the correct cup size to stitch up using your bra size and bust measurement. It is recommended to line the bralette cups to prevent excessive stretching and help your project last a lifetime.
A detailed photo tutorial is included to help you complete the lining in your bralette cups.
