Learn how to crochet fingerless gloves with this free crochet pattern so whenever you need to keep your fingers free and your hands warm, you can. These pretty fingerless gloves feature the open scallop shell stitch, which creates a lightweight look without compromising on the warmth they keep in.

When you need to keep your hands warm, but still need your fingers to be free, there is nothing more practical than fingerless gloves.
This free crochet pattern will allow you to make your own pair that are more than just practical - they are pretty too!
They use my most favourite of shell stitches; the open scallop stitch. This crochet pattern also has corresponding crochet patterns that you can make to create a colder weather set of accessories.
Both the Wheelwright infinity scarf and the matching beanie pattern use the open scallop stitch - click here to see the details of the pattern bundle of all 3 patterns.
This pattern is worked using worsted/aran weight yarn, so even with it's open stitch fabric, it still will keep your hands toasty and those fingers free to type, or crochet.
You can grab a copy of the printable crochet pattern for the Wheelwright Fingerless Gloves in my pattern shops for just £3.50. Simply click the links below to be taken to your favourite pattern shops.
