I really love my mum! She's done so much for me over the last few years and is always has an ear ready to listen to my woes. Not that I have many! So, I designed this gift with her in mind!
I really would pick her to have as my mum, every time!
She's also always been a bit of a keen gardener, so loves to receive flowers. Unlike cut flowers, this one will last forever!

Skill Level: Beginner
Materials Required:
- Flower:
- 10m (12 yds) DK (size 3) Cotton or Cotton Blend yarn in 2 colours
- 4mm crochet hook
- Darning needle
- Scissors
- 30m (36 yds) DK (size 3) Cotton or Cotton Blend yarn in a light cream shade.
- I used Sirdar Snuggly Replay in shade Ice Cream Dream (50g 150m/164yds)
- 10m (12 yds) DK (size 3) Cotton or Cotton Blend yarn in shade black
- I used Ricorumi DK 100% Cotton in shade 060.
- 3mm crochet hook
- Darning needle
- Scissors
Extras:
- 18cm x 18cm shadow box frame
- Glue to secure
- I used a hot glue gun.
- Paper or card to add as the backing to your frame printed using the templates provided.

Special Stitches
Treble Crochet (Tr) - UK Double Treble Crochet (DTr)
- Yarn over hook 3 times
- Insert hook into stitch
- Draw up a loop, yarn over hook & pull through (5 loops on hook)
- Yarn over and pull 2 loops
- Repeat 4 times.
