Crochet flowers can add a floral embellishment or applique to your crochet projects! You can add crochet flowers to crochet headbands, beanies and blankets. You could also make them to add to Mothers Day gifts! This step by step tutorial will show you just how easy this crochet flower is to make!
This easy crochet flower is very easy to make and uses a minimal amount of DK (size 3) cotton and a 4mm crochet hook. If make a bigger flower, you can simply use a bigger yarn and the corresponding hook size.
There are only 2 rounds of crochet to make this flower, you start with creating a ring with your starting chain before working your 1st round of stitches into the centre of the ring. A quick colour change for round 2, and you can crochet the petals and finish your flower.
This crochet flower is used in the Mothers Day Frame CAL which is detailed below along with the leaf pattern which you can find by clicking here.
