Easy Crochet French Press Cozy Pattern | Premium Pattern

I would consider myself a very big coffee drinker and my obsession during the various lockdown restriction's has meant that I have been enjoying coffee time at home a lot more!

I found local coffee roasting companies near to me that produce some amazing coffee and where I would normally grab a takeaway, I'm grabbing coffee beans to grind at home! Quite the change - but it's been fun trying different coffees from around the world!

I've always used a cafetiere (or a french press as it's known in the US) to brew my coffee. I did try upgrading to a filter machine, but it simply wasn't the same. I'm currently saving my pennies up to treat myself to a bean to cup machine, but I also need (well, want) a milk steamer attachment and that adds a few more pennies to my dream machine.

So, the middle ground was to create a crochet French press cosy that would keep my coffee warmer for longer. Plus, it matches the teapot cozy I made for my husband as part of the Honey & Crumpets Collection.

The Honey & Crumpet French Press Cozy, is a beginner inspired crochet pattern which uses the 1st stitch that everyone learns - Single Crochet (UK Double Crochet).

The pattern also encourages you to try foundation single crochet - which creates a stretchy foundation chain and a crochet technique that can be used in used in so many crochet patterns
