If you’re looking to add a little sunshine to your crochet projects, this cheerful free sunflower crochet pattern might be just what you need! Whether you’re a beginner or experienced crocheter, you’ll love how quick and easy this project is. Plus, the free crochet pattern includes three different sizes so you can mix and match for everything from wall decor to cosy embellishments.

About the Pattern
This sunflower pattern was designed with chunky acrylic yarn in mind to give it that bold, cosy look—but don’t let that limit your creativity! It also works beautifully with:
- Cotton yarn for a more defined, crisp look (perfect for coasters or appliqués)
- Blanket yarn if you want to make a soft and oversized sunflower pillow or plushie
Each of the 3 sizes are written out and free-to-view below, so you can choose to make the one that best fits your project – or make them all for a stunning wreath like I did!
Perfect for Any Season
These sunflowers are a great way to add warmth and color to your home all year round. Use them for:
- Home decor (think garlands, wreaths, or centerpieces)
- Gifts for friends and family
- Accessories like bags, hats, or even hair clips
Or even create your own crochet bouquet! CLICK HERE to see the crochet flowers I designed for Hobbycraft that features a slightly different sunflower pattern.
