Wheelwright Slouchy Crochet Beanie Pattern | Premium Crochet Patterns
Crochet beanie are one of my most loved things to make! From textured ribbed beanies through to pretty slouchy beanies like this one; they work with every casual outfit and almost every season too!
The Wheelwright slouchy beanie crochet pattern is designed with a longer length than a standard crochet beanie than my Easy Ribbed Beanie crochet pattern or my Beautiful Beans Beanie pattern to create that super, casual and stylish slouchy look and feel.
This slouchy beanie pattern creates a well fitting crochet beanie and is sized for toddlers, children and adults. The crochet pattern is worked in rows, with the width decreased before being seamed to prevent extra bulk at the crown of the hat.
This pattern features one of my favourite shell stitches, the open scallop stitch which creates a lightly open stitch pattern and it really looks fabulous when using a variegated yarn or change colours on different rows.

- I used used Paintbox Yarns Simply Aran (100g, 184m, 100% acrylic) in the following 2 shades:
- Main colour (MC)- 140m Pistachio (224)
- Contrast Colour (CC) 50m – Champagne White (202)
- 5mm Crochet Hook
- Scissors
- Tapestry needle
