A Simple Edging with Dramatic Effects

You can add a bold statement to a simple granny square by adding this easy border in a contracting colour. Double crochet (Dc ) is a single crochet (Sc) in US terms.

Its may be a simple stitch, but it really has a dramatic impact; You can add even more impact by adding additional rows of the double crochet edging in varying colours!

Adding a double crochet edge to your individual squares makes joining them together much easier along with helping to neaten any uneven edges on your square.
