If you like to make your cup of tea last a while, this insulated teapot cosy will allow you to enjoy teatime for a lot longer.

I have such fond memories of sitting down to enjoy tea and cake, which really go hand-in-hand that I couldn't create a crochet teapot cozy that combines the 2 of them.

I have quite the collection of teapot cozies now, and I really enjoy seeing peoples faces as I bring the pot out covered in a handmade teapot cosy.

I really love to host afternoon tea for my friends and family, and this cupcake inspired teapot cosy can be used year round.

Both the yarn and the insulating wadding I used mean that the cozy can be washed if there are any tea related accidents and it wont lose it's shape either.

As I mentioned above I have quite the collection of teapot cozy patterns and they are all suitable for beginners and use various techniques including working in the round, changing colours for the different rounds.

I also have an extremely festive pattern in the shape of a Christmas Pudding Teapot cosy.

This was the 3rd time I've worked with Brava Worsted yarn, and I'm still so impressed with the high quality of the yarn. Unlike some other acrylic yarns I've worked with, it doesn't have that fluffy look so creates great stitch definition.

This means that your stitches show up clearly and there is less chance of piling on your finished project.
