The technique used in this pattern will see the faux fur attached using surface crochet which means you don't need to work back into the fur yarn, keeping things really easy.
I used PaintBox Simply Chunky to use alongside the Sirdar Faux Fur Yarn, as the colours complement the faux fur so well!

With yarn and 6mm Hook:
Age 1-3: Ch 12.
Age 4-7: Ch 15.
Age 8-12: Ch 16.
S/M Adult: Ch 18.
M/L Adult: Ch 20.
All Sizes:
Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and each across, turn. (11, 14, 15, 17, 19 sc)
Row 2: Ch 1 (does not count as st), in BLO, sc in each stitch across, turn. (11, 14, 15, 17, 19 sc)
Age 1-3: Rows 3-15: Repeat Row 2.
Age 4-7: Rows 3-18: Repeat Row 2.
Age 8-12: Rows 3-21: Repeat Row 2.
S/M Adult: Rows 3-22: Repeat row 2.
M/L Adult: Rows 3-24: Repeat Row 2.
Fasten off leaving a long tail to sew up.
Bring Row 1 and last rows together & using whip stitch:
Age 1-3: Sew together the first 4 sts, weave down one side of the wrist warmer leaving 2 sts unsewn, sew the remaining 6 sts together.
Age 4-7: Sew together the 1st 5 sts, weave down one side of the wrist warmer leaving 3 sts unsewn, sew the remaining 7 sts together.
Age 8-12: Sew together the 1st 6 sts, weave down one side of the wrist warmer leaving 3 sts unsewn, sew the remaining 7 sts together.
S/M Adult: Sew together the first 6 sts, weave down one side of the wrist warmer leaving 4 sts unsewn, sew the remaining 7 sts together.
M/L Adult: Sew together the first 7 sts, weave down one side of the wrist warmer leaving 4 sts unsewn, sew the remaining 9 sts together.
Turn the Hand section inside out to hide seam.
Change to 8mm Hook.
For all sizes :
Round 1: Join yarn in seam, ch 1, hdc in same, hdc into end of each row around, sl st to join. (15, 18, 21, 22, 24 hdc)
Round 2: Ch 1, hdc in BLO of each st around., sl to join. (15, 18, 21, 22, 24 hdc)
Age 1-3 & Age 4-7: Continue to Final Round
Age 8-12, S/M Adult & M/L Adult:
Round 3: Repeat Rnd 2. (21, 22, 24 hdc)
All Sizes
Final Round: Ch1, in same st as Ch, sc in BLO, and in BLO of each st around. Sl St to top of 1st sc of round to join. (15, 18, 21, 22 24 sc)
Fasten off and weave in tails.
Continue to Adding the Fur
With 8mm Hook & Fur Yarn
Round 1: Insert hook under any front loop, ch 1, sl st into each front loop around.
TOP TIP - You can find the front loops easily by folding the cuff
Round 2: Sl st into front loop above last worked in Round 1, sl st into each front loop around.
Repeat Round 2 in all remaining rounds.
Fasten off and weave in ends.
