Mini Bean Stitch Tutorial
The Mini Bean crochet stitch (also known as Elizabeth Stitch) creates a complex looking, textured fabric but is so simple to crochet. This tutorial will take you though all the steps to complete this beautiful crochet stitch.
How to crochet the Mini Bean Stitch (Elizabeth Stitch)
The mini bean stitch (Elizabeth Stitch) is a firm favourite of many crocheters. So many people love a textured fabric, but so many textured crochet stitches tend to use more yarn up than the basic stitches. The mini bean is crocheted much like the puff stitch; by yarning over the hook and working back into the same stitch again to create a stitch that stands out. The number of times you yarn over is significantly less so the stitch therefore uses significantly less yarn! When this stitch is worked in rows, the stitches appear to be travelling in different directions to add even more interest in fabric being created!
